The Bistro is also situated right next to the farmyard and pool (poolside food and drinks are available) making it the perfect location for the whole family.

Whether you are young or advanced in year, looking to get a couple of laps in, or just wanting to lounge around with a drink – we’ve got you covered. At Sondela Nature Reserve & Spa there are various swimming pools, heated and non-heated, to choose from. We also have kiddies pools for the little ones.

The Deli & Shop is a treasure trove of handcrafted goods and sustainable products. Locally made jewelry, assorted camping gear, and organic skincare products sat side by side with informative books on wildlife conservation and the rich history of the region. Every item had a story, a connection to the land, and a purpose beyond its material existence. Another beloved section is our Deli.This masterpiece showcased an assortment of hand-selected cheeses, cured meats, olives, and house-made preserves. It was a visual and gustatory feast that encouraged patrons to slow down, unwind and enjoy the open bushveld.
